Thank you to everyone that wished me Happy Birthday, hung out with me, and/or gave me a gift. I really appreciate it. Turning 20 has been...interesting. Coming in terms with the fact I'm out of the teen years has been weird.
Pre-party
2/1/08
5 hours from Glenside to New York. We still haven't figured out how that was possible but it happened. Luckily, I had left early enough (missing class and work) to get some rest from the traveling before I got ready for the Who's That ?ack at the Bitter End. It was fucking awesome. I had a seat right front and center. I tried to take video but the sound is really staticy, i was probably too close to the sound equipment. I had such an awesome time, it was an awesome show. As I told Tim and Patrick, it was so worth the hassle of getting to NY.
Party
2/7/08
Almost as soon as it hit midnight, Jonathan called me so he could be the first to wish me a Happy Birthday. After Jonathan called, Preeya called to also wish me a Happy Birthday. In the morning, I went to my full day of classes, went back to my apartment, watched some CSI: Miami Season 2, and then had myself some rice and black beans (one of my favorite dishes). Megan came over and the four of us hung out in the living room. At one point, I went to take a call from Preeya in my room. In the middle of the conversation, Sam, Megan, and Jenn came in with one of Jenn's candles and sang Happy Birthday to me. I was very surprised. My mom called as well to tell me how she was so upset because this was the first birthday we didn't spend together.
After party
2/9 - 2/10/08
Mom and I went to see Momma Mia! on Broadway. My cousins had bought mom and I tickets for Christmas and we were like 7 rows back the stage. It was great. The play was wonderful. After the play we went to the Olive Garden. The next day, Preeya came over to give me a gift and she stayed for lunch and the finale was the blow out of the candles on the cake.
